Dear Learners,
In our last session you learned about Communication: concepts, types, system and networks, barriers for effective communication and how to eradicate those barriers for effective communication. As you all know we use 70% of our daily awaken time in communicating with the people. Communicating in written, verbal or though our body languages. You must be excited that a communication also helps you in your job hunt from CV writing to interview and real working environment in organizations. Meanwhile, it has been proved those successful leaders were good at communicating their ideas and visions to its follower and inspire them.

Dear Learners,

In today’s last class of Organization Behaviour, you were introduced to Organization Changes, Source of Changes, Resistance to change and its management approaches. As you know change in inevitable and a natural process. Many people, organization and institutions have evolved through constant changes and some have perished due to resistance to changes as well. In Nepal, past giant organization like Basbari Shoes, Bhrikuti Paper Production, and Gorakhali Rubber Udhyog have eventually failed to survive till today. Fierce competition, following stagnant traditional rules and norms, complex structures and trade unionism has affected in bringing changes to action.

Hence, as told by Charles Darwin, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent but the one most responsive to change” has been so true.

Note: Do find all the slides in the attachment! I have attached a note of OB as well. I hope you would find it useful!
